The third edition of the Roman Missal will bring ritual music changes to the mass. The ‘parts of the Mass’, ( Holy Holy Holy, Memorial Acclamation, and the Gloria), must be changed to accommodate the new translations.

These new melodies are composed with the assembly in mind, and they are beautiful! I am confident that we will easily learn these lovely sung prayers.

Starting in September, we will begin to introduce the new music before the Mass begins. We‘ll ask you to sing it with us, and we‘ll include it , little by little, into the Mass.

This is an historic time for our church! Change can be difficult, but rest assured I will make the transition as smooth as possible for you by teaching you the music one step at a time.

The new music that we’ll be learning can be heard online at: www.massofrenewal.com . Listening to the music online is a wonderful way to prepare and become familiar with the music ahead of time. Please begin by listening to the Gloria #3, Sanctus #7, and the Mystery of Faith #8.
