Giving Thanks
Without Gods love at work in so many people, the listed accomplishments
would never be possible. Every person who responds is a reflection of
Gods infinite mercy and compassion. His love is all around us and made
evident in a multitude of ways. Generosity and compassion are true gifts
of the Spirit that can indeed flourish in the most challenging and
difficult situations. We thank you God for allowing us to serve you. For
opening our hearts to those who so desperately need our help to live in
dignity. May we who live in the first world be ever united with our
brothers and sisters in the third world and let us never render in our
spirit of sharing and giving of ourselves. It is in this spirit of love
that we are able to give to others a life of hope. May all we meet
forever see in us, the love, care, and compassion of Christ our Lord.
Amen.
